Want to experience the spine-tingling, goose bump-raising feeling of holding an original artifact of great historical significance? Museum visitors will be able to handle some of the original artifacts recovered from the wreck of the USS Monitor, with gloves of course.
Guests will have the opportunity to speak with conservation staff to learn more about the artifacts and their significance, as well as learn about the overall conservation process.
